| Space-Based Architectures with JINI (2. August 2007) | | Print | |

Most business applications are architected using a tier-based
approach. The emergence of powerful and new commodity
HW and the introduction of SOA/Grid architectures touts the
promise of achieving true linearly-scalable systems. However,
these new platforms and architectures are not aligned with the
existing tier-based approach. Here a new approach will be introduced - Space Based Architecture (SBA), an architecture that takes advantage of Sun's JINI Technology. It is basically a combination of Distributed Caching, SOA and Grid concepts combined into a single coherent architecture. (Vortrag auf Englisch) Der Sprecher: Owen Taylor ist Senior Director (Worldwide Technical Communications) für GigaSpaces Technologies. Owen hat langjährige Erfahrung mit J2EE Design Patterns und J2EE Performance Tuning
